Bernardo Guto, est un artiste à cheval entre plusieurs cultures. Des influences plurielles que l’on ressent au contact de ses toiles. Entre couleurs vives et criardes à la sud américaine, abstraction à l’européenne ou figuration plus classique, Guto a décidé de ne pas choisir ! Résultat un joyeux patchwork qui vaut le coup d’œil à découvrir jusqu’au 15 septembre à la Maison d’Amérique Latine… |

Bernardo Guto (Bernd Gutowski) was born 1944 in Gleiwitz (Germany). He studied education at the University of Munich. From 1968 to 1983 he worked as a teacher.
Already during his early childhood and adolescence he was an artistically inclined person but it was not before 1983 that he exclusively devoted his time to painting. Since 1985 he regualarly exhibited his artworks at "Galerie Farangis" in Munich. 1990 he left Europe for Venezuela, where he lived and worked as an artist for 7 years. He had yearly presentations of his artworks at the "Galeria Felix" and "Galeria Altamira" in Caracas. During a stay in Paris in 1994 he participated at the "Salon des Indépendants" and the "Salon de la Société des Artistes Francaises". 1998 he returned to Europe. |

Bernardo Guto (Bernd Gutowski) nació 1944 en Gleiwitz (Alemania). Estudió educación en la Universidad de Munich. Desde 1968 hasta 1983 trabajó como profesor.
Desde su niñez demostró aptitudes y cierta inclinación por las artes plásticas, pero no era antes de 1983 que él se dedicó exclusivamente a la pintura. Desde 1985 exhibió en forma regular sus obras en "Galerie Farangis" en Munich. 1990 salió de Europa a Venezuela, donde vivió y trabajó como artista por 7 años. Tenía exposiciones anuales de sus obras en "Galeria Felix" y "Galeria Altamira" en Caracas. Durante una estancia en París en el año 1994 participó en el "Salon des Indépendants" y el "Salon de la Société des Artistes Francaises". En 1998 volvió a Europa. |
